The ARA currently maintains two 501(c)3 Foundations for the benefit of members and the professional automotive recycling industry.
The ARA Educational Foundation is a non-profit organization formed with the purpose to provide the most up-to-date training and educational resources available for the automotive recycling industry. The ARA Educational Foundation researches and collects training materials that are designed not only to train the upcoming workforce of the automotive recycling industry, but also to keep automotive recyclers educated in the most current technology and informed of improved methods of better business practices.
Among other projects, this Foundation is responsible for the founding and development of the ARA University, a 24/7 training platform that is now a vital free benefit for members of the ARA. They also maintain a active role in other industry organizations, such as CEICA, representing ARA interests in the repair and collision industries.
