Professional Automotive Recycler Reed Schram Nominated to Join Executive Committee of Automotive Recyclers Association
MANASSAS, VA – The Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) today announced that professional automotive recycler Reed Schram of Schram Auto Parts headquartered in Waterford, Michigan has been nominated to join the Association Executive Committee as Secretary for 2026-2027. Reed is General Manager of Schram’s, a fourth-generation automotive recycler and the third in his family to serve as an officer for ARA. Schram Auto Parts is a 103-year-old family business. He will be formally confirmed by the ARA Board of Directors and Membership during ARA’s 83rd Annual Convention and Exposition taking place October 15-17th in Atlanta, Georgia.

Coming from a family of such strong leaders that have helped shape where we are today as an association, I am really excited to begin working with him on some of the critical issues facing automotive recyclers.”
Since becoming General Manager in 2017, Reed has focused on modernizing operations, investing in technology, and expanding the company’s commitment to quality recycled OEM parts and exceptional customer service. Having spent more than two decades in the automotive recycling industry, Reed has been involved in nearly every aspect of the business, from operations and sales to technology development and strategic growth. He has led numerous initiatives to improve efficiency through automation, data analytics, route optimization, and inventory management while maintaining the family values that have defined Schram Auto Parts for generations. Outside of work, Reed enjoys spending time with his wife and family, boating, traveling, and continually exploring new technologies that can help strengthen both his business and the automotive recycling industry.
