The Thoroughbred Center & BBQ
The Thoroughbred Center & BBQ   |   Friday, Oct. 9th   |   6:30 pm – 10:00 pm

Our day of horse racing doesn’t end at Keeneland, as we continue the fun at The Thoroughbred Center.   The Thoroughbred Center brings over 40 years of tradition and mystique and is the home to 1,000 horses.  Our evening will include a great BBQ dinner, tours of the center and an opportunity to contribute to the fundraising efforts of ARA’s Educational Foundation.

The breeding season is over and all steeds have been spoken for!  Now the grooming and training is taking place for the ARA EF Derby!  Cheer on your favorite vendor or salvage yard by placing your WIN, PLACE or SHOW bet for their steed. The evening also consists of the ARA EF Horse Dash, a series of 6, previously run races shown via video.  Again, bets will be made for WIN, PLACE or SHOW and winners are paid on established odds.

At the end of the evening, show your support of the Educational Foundation by placing the highest bid on several great prizes up for auction.  You may also use your winnings from the evening to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win other great prizes!
